I was raised on real estate! At age 3, my father was having trouble finding a baby sitter and had no choice but to take me on a showing with him. That was my first real estate “appointment.” He ended up selling the house to those buyers that day. When pursuing a bachelor’s degree at SUNY Brockport, my father asked me to assist him part-time. While still at school in 2007, I received my real estate license. I sold my first two houses at age 19. After those first few transactions, I was hooked. I knew I had found my niche. I decided that selling homes was the perfect fit for a career!
From kindergarten to eighth grade, I attended Sacred Heart Cathedral School. In 2005 I graduated from The Aquinas Institute. In 2009 I received a bachelors degree in Health Science with minors in psychology and criminal justice from The State University at Brockport. I am an active member of the Women’s Council of Realtors. I hold the position of Secretary on our local chapter’s governing board. I have a gigantic vegetable garden in my back yard. Every year, I grow about 5-10 different kinds of vegetables. I was a landlord within 2 weeks of turning 25. Since then, I have purchased a 3rd home. In total I own 3 houses, 2 of which are rental properties. I have traveled to more countries in Europe than states in the US. I can still taste the pizza from Florence even all these years later. I have a strong passion for music and concerts. Last summer I was lucky enough to see Stevie Nicks, one of my idols, perform live with Fleetwood Mac. It was a truly incredible experience for me. Some of my favorite bands include: The Beatles, Journey, Dave Matthews Band, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. In the last year, I have taken up yoga classes. In September, I completed a 40-day yoga challenge at my local yoga studio. At the end of the challenge I felt empowered that I was able to find the time and the physical strength to complete it. One of my favorite past times is reading. I devour books, mostly fiction. My two favorite authors are Jodi Picoult and J.K. Rowling. And yes, that was me, standing in line at midnight for every Harry Potter book release.
I was selected as one of REALTOR® Magazine’s “30 under 30” honorees for 2015. REALTOR® Magazine, a publication of the National Association of REALTORS®, recognizes annually the achievements of young professionals who excel in various aspects of their real estate career, including professional leadership and community involvement. Danielle’s photo and profile will appear in the May/June issue which will be distributed to over 2 million people nationally. An article by Erica Christoffer, consulting editor for REALTOR® Magazine, stated these professionals “hail from all parts of the country and their specialties are diverse. They are salespeople, team members, leaders of teams, and company owners. As a group, these 30 practitioners demonstrate some of the best traits the real estate industry has to offer.”
